My calm Friday night!

Its a Friday night and I am listening to #MUTOTO by Lokua. It is just right that am not out in a loud and noisy club drowning in deceit and later waking up with a bad headache and a badly dented account but instead listening to this amazing and soothing music that is calming my insides promising a peaceful night. What more can I ask for? Enjoy....

Great music sounds like this@!!! LOKUA KANZA Nakazonga

The Scribbler In Me

I have an old school side of that can't keep off pen and paper, I write down whatever comes across my mind and at times it ends up as short stories or even poetry which I have to confess may not be at par with what you are used to reading in your literature class or even the many books that echo the poetic world. So I went ahead; let go and let flow in the world unknown and this is what was born.

PEN & PAPER
Pen and paper caressing each other brutally
With no thought or emotion, they go on
Oblivious of the person spewing their views through them
Used up for personal gains
Littering the desks and walls of houses, hallways and streets
Pens, so beautiful and classy
Bleeding their all out of love for our work to come to birth
And later tossed in the bins with parts missing
Of decent burials to best seller books
Paper, so vital we can’t do without
Not even the paperless classrooms threatens your intended death
So resourceful
Gracing noticeboards, bags, bookstores, libraries…
You are such a school
Torn, burned, dumped in stinky pits
Happy ending much?
Whatever happened to recycling?
(IT ALL STARTS SOMEWHERE)
To all writers, students, and all other paper and pen consumers.

INTERLUDE

Its the month of June, one of favorite times of the year because it symbolizes happiness to me. It spells holidays, fun, love and a new beginning like no other month does, not even December and all its hype could make me this wild. I kinda go through some sort of mutation, I get a new inner me! First it starts with one of my cool and awesome childhood friends birthday and then my amazing and smart bruv's birthday Peloz, he is so cool I can never ask for more!  It also is summer time in abroad and you know that its so much fun when you have loads of cash and the right crowd to spend it with, that is my family but since I am in Nairobi this time I have to spend it in the dusty and chilly Daystar University Athi River campus environs with the wild animals and friends around!
In my busy schedule, I end up trying to make my life fun if not normal by doing what I feel like so as to make this month memorable if not the usual amazing, that involves swimming, a little partying, reading, writing and making good food; oh! yes! I cook! For a first, this must be way too much info but hey! expect bits and pieces of my life in the coming posts. I may be a rough talker but I sure have a soothing side portrayed in my gait and talk!
